Phillip Brubaker (b.1996) is a modern artist based in Austin, Texas. Originally from centralIllinois, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and currently works full-time as an M&A Consultant.

Brubaker began painting in 2023—unexpectedly and without formal training—as a personal outlet for expression. What started as a spontaneous experiment quickly became a meaningful creative practice fueled by curiosity and emotion.

Working primarily in abstract and figurative styles, his work often explores life experiences and broader themes of the human condition. Through vibrant colors, distinct patterns, and dynamic movement, he experiments with a wide range of mediums to bring each piece to life.
